Letterpress Quail Flask

Quail are so freaking cute. I love them, and they make great flasks. This 6 oz flask was printed on leather from a damaged child's jacket in light green and brown ink. I used contrasting blue and brown thread to bind the back. The light green layer is a wood flat, and the quail was carved on shina wood.

*This high quality stainless steel flask was printed on a Nolan #2 proof press on recycled leather taken from old clothes.

*Please keep in mind that a funnel is needed to fill a flask. While the image won't run if it gets wet, it will continue to smell like your drink of choice for quite a while.

*If you don't have a funnel, pour the desired amount of alcohol into a ziplock bag and seal it. Cut off a small bit of corner, and you're set!
