This is a hand-painted, hand-sanded and finished sign by me. I use only solid pine and I love the natural knots and imperfections as they only add to the distressed look. I will not however make your sign with any split or cracked boards. Each sign will be painted front and back, then hand-sanded for that prim rustic country look and finished with a wax for indoor/outdoor use. If displaying your sign directly in the weather elements and want a coat of matte varnish let me know! Please specify the colors you would like listed on your sign along with the FAMILY NAME & EST DATE. The sign in the sample photo is made with Antique White background and Black lettering. The sign measures about 9.5" H & 24" W but the length of your sign will depend on your name. Please convo me if you need to know the approximate length before ordering.
