This is exactly how I made the slipcover that has become the star of so many of my duffle photos.
My chair is an IKEA HARRY. This tutorial will guide you through measuring and making a pattern for any armless chair. I have even used it to cover my large parsons chairs.
If your chair is a kitchen chair size simple one like the HARRY, you will be able to use the cutting layout as shown to fit everything onto one yard of 54" wide fabric. If you have a larger armless chair to cover, you will need more fabric. The cutting layout will be the same, just bigger.
If you have questions as to whether this pattern will work for your chair, please contact me and include a photograph of your chair in your message.
As with all of my patterns, I am here to help you with questions after you buy the pattern.
Pattern includes one photo, one chart, and two diagrams. One diagram is the cutting layout and one illustrates the sewing steps.
My standard cottage licensing agreement is included with this pattern. You can go ahead and use it to make slipcovers for sale!
