The top of the ring was fitted to a hand sawn split shank band. This allows the large top of the ring plenty of support without having to make the band too wide. The sides of the shanks were embellished with two organic flowers.
My initials, my shop logo of a heart with wings and the sterling silver standard of .925 were stamped onto a little moon crescent shaped and soldered to the back.
The completed ring was oxidized to highlight the stamping and then polished to a high gleam.
The band is a size R/ 8.5 and is .8cm wide The top of the ring measures 4.5cm (nearly 2 inches) x 3.5cm (1.4inches).
