This little Deadpan Alley drawing is done in Staedtler Lumocolor and other inks. It measures 5.5x8 inches and is drawn on a vintage paper with a rather interesting poem. I liked the look of the rough edge on the old paper here, so the piece will be mounted on black card stock measuring 8x10 inches and is suitable for framing. I scan these drawings to provide the images, but they are crisper and clearer in person.
My illustrations are hand drawn with ink and other media like watercolor, acrylic and colored pencil. These particular illustrations are done with a free hand. No pencil sketches beforehand, just seeing what develops. I try not to screw things up and if I succeed with the ink portion, I go from there.
Your illustration will be signed, dated, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, protected with a firm backing and shipped with care.
