Twin AAA quality, pink amethyst (although the gems are decidedly lavender in colour) concave cut heart briolettes have been spun with lashings of sterling silver wire into a pair of earrings that you will treasure. I have secured these to a handmade sterling silver swooping ear wire, which has been hammered in such a way that that it creates a decadent point at the top, swooping down to a double swirl. Yummy.
The gems are super sparkly in the light. I have used a lovely wire wrap technique where the top loop is also lashed with more sterling wire, for a neat and detailed finish.
This pair was then oxidised organically (using the fumes from organic free range eggs) overnight, to create a contrast between the soft soft lavender of the amethyst and the dark grey silver. Following oxidisation, these were then carefully rinsed and polished selectively to create light and shade. Inspired by nature, the elements and all that is lush.

Measuring 4cm (1.5in) from the top of the hook to the bottom of the stunning briolette.
All metal is sterling silver, which is recycled / reclaimed (yay! eco friendly!) by my manufacturer into high quality sterling silver wire and chain, for me to then play with!
