Twin high-end, AAA quality sapphire briolettes have been spun with lashings of sterling silver wire into a pair of earrings that you will treasure. I have secured these to a handmade sterling silver swooping ear wire, which has been hammered for style.
The ear wire is deliberately petite, so the earring hangs just below your ear lobe. If you would prefer bigger ear wires, please just let me know. These gemstones are just stunning, flashing in the light. The wire wrapping is neat, secure and detailed.
This pair was then oxidised organically overnight, to create a contrast between the luminous blue of the sapphire and the dark and dirty silver. Following oxidisation, these were then carefully rinsed and polished selectively to create light and shade. Inspired by nature, the elements and all that is lush.
Measuring 3.5cm (1.5in) from the top of the hook to the bottom of the stunning briolette.
