Our newest Offset Band! At 9.5mm, this band is a brilliant and boldly romantic statement. The Titanium is polished to a mirror finish (but this band would also look awesome in a satin finish) and the interior is anodized a wine shaded purple that perfectly complements the jet-black resin inlay.

Because of its anodizing on the interior, this band would look gorgeous engraved.

We can make this band in most any width! The most popular widths for our bands are as follows:

3/16" = 4.8mm
7/32" = 5.6mm
1/4" = 6.4mm
5/16" = 7.9mm
3/8" = 9.5mm

The Incredibly Beautiful DURABILITY of Minter & Richter Designs Wood Inlay Rings

Understandably, many people are concerned about durability when buying wedding rings. After all, a wedding ring should last forever. Long after death has parted the two of you, your wedding ring should still be a beautiful, shining symbol of the love you shared. At Minter & Richter Designs, we understand that completely. That is why we use the materials we do.

The durability of Titanium is well known. It is so durable, in fact, that they use it in building rockets and human bones (for examples). It is strong, impermeable, and lightweight. These are the characteristics that make it perfect for the construction of rockets and bones – add to that its unique ability to take on a variety of finishes as well as its glorious color and shine – and you have the perfect material for the perfect ring.

When we choose an inlay material, we do so with two things in mind. Durability and Beauty. Many of the woods we use for our wood inlays are ultra stabilized under a patented high pressure process, making them impermeable to water and incredibly resistant to scratches. Some of the woods we use (like the Bloodwood or Cocobolo) for example, are chosen because they are so high in natural oil content that they naturally repel water. To both of these wood types, we add a second and third layer of sealant, which finishes the whole process and leaves you with a wedding ring you can count on.

Many Minter & Richter Design Rings are inlayed with a composite resin rather than wood. While it may take a person a little more contemporary at heart to wear a ring with a man-made product as an inlay, that person will be thrilled with the result. The variety found in these inlays knows no bounds – they are all patterns and swirls and gorgeous translucence. Those who buy our composite resin inlayed rings love the fact that they are wearing rings that they have never before seen on anyone else. And as for durability, you cannot beat them.

We have sold our rings to professional chefs, avalanche detonators, firemen and mechanics and have only heard back from them how thrilled they are with their choice and how amazed they are that their ring can withstand their lifestyle. Having said all of this, we back all our rings 100% and will always fix or replace an inlay should it need it. That has never happened before, but we want our customers to know that buying from us is safe. We are real people, with a real jewelry studio. We are not a factory filled with strangers. We care about our rings and appreciate the opportunity to share them with people care about how their bands are made.

PICK YOUR WIDTH OR ASK US TO

All our rings can be made in most any reasonable width – most are 3/8”, 5/16th, 3/16” or ¼” – so you can pick one of those or just let us know and we will pick the width that we think goes best with the ring and is proportional to your ring size.

THINKING ABOUT SIZE

We can make any size ring up to 17. The important thing to remember is that Titanium cannot be re-sized, so be very careful when figuring out your size and remember that wider rings fit somewhat more snugly, so you may want to go up in size by ¼ or so if you want a really wide band – like 3/8” and above. If you have any questions about this at all, we are here to answer them.
