This delicate, cozy cowl is hand knit in a blend of merino wool and gleaming silk, and fastens up with a row of nine timeworn vintage buttons.

It can be worn either as a cowl or as a traditional scarf with the ends free.

At 60 inches long by 9 inches wide (about 152 by 23 cm), this delicate scarf can be worn almost any way you care to wrap it - frame your face in ultra soft lacy folds of silk and merino wool, wrap it twice for a layered look, wear the ends loose, use the buttons to narrow it, &c. Modern knitted lace and mismatched vintage buttons create an ideal fusion between past and present.

This piece is a perfect accessory for chilly days, whether you're exploring the seaside or wandering through urban landscapes.

Care advice: handwash cool, dry flat after gently pressing out excess water. Reblock to preserve lace.
