“Polar X-Press” the laid back Polar Bear Sculpture was created when I received one of the many ‘Wildlife Foundation’ donation pamphlets in the mail showing that our beloved Polar bears were in danger, at the time, of becoming an endangered species. This was my small contribution to bringing awareness to the lives of this precious animal. I made the ceramic sculpture simply lying on a beautiful, wooden trophy-like base to focus solely on the polar bear but having him displayed as the important creation that he is. He was named after the Warner Brothers animation hit of the same name, only because the meaning of getting Polar bears back on the fast track to a healthy population. Since he was created, polar bears have been listed as a threaten species and I plan on making more sculptures as my way of educating.

As with all my creations, Polar X-Press is a handmade, signed, one-of-a-kind sculpture that can be copied, but not duplicated. Each piece is lovingly hand formed, as well as hand glazed with three to six coats to achieve the best color enhancement.
