Fuzzy Lizzie's website also has a great post about Leser and if you scroll to bottom of the page you will see an image depicting a Tina Leser skirt that matches this bathing suit exactly. http://fashionsfinest.fuzzylizzie.com/tinaleser.html
Other cute details of the suit: little elasticized mini-bloomer style leg liners hidden under short bottom. Whole suit lined in soft white cotton (muslin?). Ties are sewn in at front but can be buttoned or unbuttoned at back (for slight length adjustment OR to tie straps into halter neck. Beautifully shaped bust area, with very flattering darting and vertical "boning." Unique and attractive wrap around self tie detail starts at back and comes across to tie at front waist. Zips up back with TALON metal zipper (sorry, I don't yet have a small mannequin, so in image, zipper not all the way up). All in all, this piece of wearable history is Pin up perfect and in EXCELLENT condition. Fresh, crisp, pristine (I truly don't believe it has ever been worn).
Approximate Measurements
Bust: at rest across top of bodice is 32, but shaped cups with boning and darts will allow for 34, if not more (I would say could accommodate 35, poss. up to 36 as absolute max, but not positive).
Waist: 25 (poss. stretch up to 26 max)
Hips: 36 (measured at widest point of hip area)
Length: 22 (from top of bodice to bottom of short, not including shoulder straps); bodice from top of bustline to waist seam is 10.
