Point Break Vaya Con Dios Virgin Mary Charm Necklace handmade by Hoolala

Ah I love this one so much. It was inspired by my last surfing adventure where the waves were so big and wild they reminded me of the closing scene of Point Break on Bells Beach with the 50 years storm where Bodie stands looking out to sea waiting for his 'set' (*chuckle*). I really do not like big wave riding - the odds of meeting your maker are too high besides I have a 9'4" longboard which is a handful at the best of times and it is more suited to sunny afternoons with 2-3 feet waves and a long easy break followed by a lovely cream tea on the terrace shortly afterwards. So...at the end of the film Special Agent Utah uncuffs Bhodie he says 'Vaya Con Dios' which I understand means 'Go with God' and off he goes as the policemen on the shore say ' We will get him when he comes back in.' and Utah says 'He's not coming back'.

I have wanted to make a trinket dedicated to my extreme sporting activities for a while now and this fits the bill...perfectly. The Virgin Mary is set in a sterling silver plated on brass charm cup, the Vaya Con Dios charm is 11mm and sterling silver plated brass, the chain is stainless steel and measures 64cms. It will come beautifully wrapped ready for giving or simply keeping :)
