CELEDON AND BAMBO PORCELAIN DRAGONFLY YARN BOWL

Just in time for your summer knitting. Made on the pottery wheel using porcelain clay, then altered to use as a yarn bowl. I added a dragonfly that I draw on the side and paint with underglazes before bisque firing the first time. Then glaze with celedon and bamboo on the edge of the bowl for contrast. Yarn bowl measures 3 1/2" tall and 6" in diameter, fired twice to over 2200 degrees.
