I will work from a photograph, provided by you, to create a portrait in the style exampled here, including an accurate line drawing of the house itself, left uninked, and an evocative impression of background in soft colours. The portrait will be created entirely in Photoshop. If you like my drawing style, but are interested in a full-colour print (or any other alterations you can think of), please convo me for details.
Included in the price of your house portrait is one 8x10 print of the finished portrait. If you'd like a bigger print, you may upgrade to an 11x14 for an extra $8. I will retain the high-resolution file of your portrait, and you will be able to purchase any additional prints, now or in the future, for my standard rate of $20.00 per 8x10 or $28.00 per 11x14. Prints of your house portrait will only be available for purchase by you or anyone that you approve.
Your prints will be printed on Rives BFK paper (130lbs, acid-free, 100% cotton rag, mould made) with Epson archival pigment inks. I initial each print on the front, and title, date, and sign it on the back. The print will be protected in a cello sleeve and shipped to you in a rigid mailer.
Although payment for this custom print is required in advance, I will work with you until you are satisfied with your portrait. You are also welcome to request deviations from the photo (for instance, in the first example, I have replaced the deck in the photo with the steps remembered from my childhood, and in the second, the trees in front of the building were removed so that the building could be seen). I want you to love your print! Please convo me with any questions you might have.
