This original piece is a combination of woodburning, acrylic paint and wood stamping. I created this sheet for the images (three houses) to be used in reproduction for another project. The original sheet of wood has been cut and permanently mounted to the embroidery hoop which acts as a frame for the piece. The edges are smooth and seamless. Along the right side of the last house is stamped 05 26 10 which is the date the houses were created. Signed and dated on the back.
The size of this piece is a little over 8.25" in diameter. The wood used was Italian Poplar and the piece is signed (woodburned) on the back. I have applied two coats of varnish to protect the image.
