Sea Gypsies...Three lovely mermaids floating over to greet you...smiling...adorned beautifully jewels from a sunken treasure and natural shells, they are beckoning you to come along with them. I wonder what great adventures they will lead you on....that story remains to be told!
This mixed media piece was created on a 12 inches wide by 24 inches tall by 1.5 inch handmade box frame made of birch wood.
I've used inks, papers, glitter, seashells, acrylics, color pencil, water color, rhinestones, metallic paints and various stewart gill iridescent paints. Also a thin layer of beeswax was applied upon completion.
