The handsome pre-war pair are lathe cut and hand finished, with one bracelet slightly thicker than the other, and comprised of a black bakelite catalin, in high domed bangle shapes.
They measure about ½ inch in thickness, and are approximately 10&5/8 inches around on the outside, and 8 inches around on the inside.
Although "black" bakelite often doesn't pass chemical testing, since it doesn't patinate in the same manner as other colors do -- we did however get a bit of the staining -- on one more than the other.
The neat set of two has a total hefty weight of 70 grams.
