The only tools you should need to complete this modification are tweezers, pliers, a dremel tool or metal file, and hot glue. The job should take less than an afternoon.
Because the conversion kit I send you needs to fit your typewriter, I may ask you to send photos of your typewriter's undercarriage so that I can size it correctly.
