This contemporary, bold piece is a combination of printing on canvas and free hand machine embroidery.
Using archival inks (that will retain their vibrance) I have printed one of my illustrations on to canvas, I have added machine stitched detail around the houses, the trees are cotton and add a great contrast to the glossy texture of the canvas.
The canvas is pure white Epson Premium Satin which has a beautiful glossy surface.
This piece is mounted on a wooden frame with a saw tooth hanger ready for hanging. It is neatly finished off with gingham fabric.
Measurements: 13.8 x 15.7 inches (35 x 40 cm) on a standard 18mm wrap.
