Now, a word about these pliers- they can be VERY frustrating to use! but this has been the easiest thing i've found, aside from my very expensive industrial snap applicator. but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.
you have to be very careful to arrange the pearl snap just perfectly in the plastic rubber ring thinger. it takes some practice- which is why all cowgirl snap order come with a few extra pieces. i recommend trying it out first with the ringed prong (i include more extras of these in orders) to get the hang of it. i would also recommend experimenting on something OTHER than your final project. getting the snaps off can be done with a flat head screw driver, but sometimes it can mess up the fabric.
