This handmade Lakota Native American influenced belt is a bead lover’s dream. It contains over 3000 size 10 glass beads that were individually placed on a loom. This belt is symmetrical in its design. Its center exhibits a feather. The colors are traditional Native arrays: turquoise background, black, red, yellow and green. The beads were sown onto soft deer hide and then reinforced in the back with brown cow hide leather. The belt buckle features an eagle and man center and is surrounded by semiprecious stones including turquoise, quartz, aventurine, and shell. The buckle is made of Alpaca silver.
This belt fashions beautifully on both men and women. It is 41 inches (104 cm) long and just over 1 inch wide (3.1 cm).
