I've been playing around with the idea of unexpected inserts and details on otherwise conservative pieces, and this is one of the designs that came from this idea.
From the front this top looks like a classic sleeveless blouse, but from the back you can see it has a bit more to offer. The upper back portion is attached to the shirt along all seams except for the bottom, similar to the flap detail on many trench coats. The box pleat at the center back adds to this effect. The lower back portion of the top is sheer white mesh (super soft, as always).
The patterned fabric is 100% cotton, quite lightweight, that I picked up here in Montreal. The sheer mesh is a poly/nylon blend.
This top is available in S, M and L sizing is as follows:
Small - fits 32-34 bust
Medium - fits 34-36 bust
Large - fits 36-38 bust
Length of the top is 24" from high shoulder point (where the shoulder seam meets the collar) to the hem.
