My little ode to the mountains I love.
I went on a three day backpacking trip recently in the Smoky Mountains... It was incredible, the things we saw and the people we met. Those mountains hold a giant piece of my heart, and living within them for three days, traveling the trails and witnessing a small portion of the many miracles that happen every instant within their strong embrace was humbling and exhilarating.
The Verdant ring is fabricated from sterling silver and a tear drop shaped moss agate stone, a gorgeously rustic ring, yet elegant in her simplicity. The moss agate is full of lovely inclusions that look as if grass was trapped and held within the stone as it was formed. The white quartz of this stone swirl with these inclusions for a lovely combination and stunning contrast. I chose to set this ring in sterling that follows the lines of the stone, but just a bit slightly off center for lovely, swoon worthy lines that grace the finger gorgeously. Three sterling silver balls adorn one side for interest and a little extra drama. The back of the ring is stamped with my initials and has a wonderfully earthy, rustic appearance. Verdant has been given a lovely patina and rubbed lightly for depth~
The Verdant ring is a size 7. This ring cannot be resized, but I do have another of these stones and can fabricate a similar ring for you in your size~
