What does Santa do on those days when he just needs a break from all that toy making? He slaps on the skates, puts on his favourite jersey (north of 60 degrees North latitude, hence the number), grabs a hockey stick and plays a game of pick up hockey with the elves! He won't admit it, but even with his old fashion hockey equipment, he's really a pretty good player. He's no Gretzky, but for a fat man he's pretty limber on his feet!
Hockey Santa is 26 cm (10 inches) tall and is attached to a 9 cm by 9 cm by 3.5 cm (high) solid cedar base making the entire sculpture approx. 30 cm (12 inches) tall. The cedar base is sealed with Varathane and brass wires are inserted through his feet into the cedar form. His legs are slightly bendable allowing you to pose him to make him stand straight. He is cute to look at, and he comes from a smoke free home, but he is not a children's toy.
Hockey Santa is a combination of light cream, mixed brown, black and red. His hockey stick is a brass wire wrapped with black roving and trimmed with white. Please remember different monitors may show colours slightly different then they actually are, but trust me, I've worked very hard in picking out just the right colours to bring these sculptures to life!
Listing is for felted Hockey Santa and his cedar bass only. Other display items are not included.
