❀ Lace Motifs ❀
As with all of my designs, the lace motifs were created entirely from scratch, using my signature lacemaking techniques and original patterns.
The necklace features a graceful, teardrop pendant, meticulously crafted with real silver threads--like those used in the opulent embroideries of the Rococo era. The pendant has a delicate net base, dotted with tiny vintage glass seed beads, and asymmetrically adorned with a dainty bouquet of hand crocheted flowers. The central flower has A grade, white freshwater pearls for its petals, the two flowers on either side are accented with A grade rainbow moonstone rondelles. A vintage rhinestone and more freshwater pearls decorate the centers of the flowers, while an AA rock crystal briolette adds a bit of sparkle to the pendant. The lace motif is edged with a row of pearls and a dainty lace edging of vintage seed beads. The top of the pendant is attached to the chain with a tiny lace rosette, and the back of the motif is embellished with another rosette.
Sparkling rock crystal briolettes hang beneath the pendant and are punctuated with dainty drops of freshwater pearls and rock crystal threaded on sterling silver head pins.
The pendant is suspended from a handmade chain dotted with a mixture of freshwater pearls and rock crystal rondelles.
The necklace fastens with a dainty, sterling silver lobster claw clasp with adjustable chain, terminating in a rock crystal briolette.
