This little series of ten rings was born from my fascination for stone faceting. I used positive and negative spaces, and I simplified at the essential the gemstones facets, looking forward to represent their lights and shadows.
If you were wondering why I named this series "199Ct", it's because if all these rings were real gemstones, let's say diamonds, as a consequence of their sizes they would sum up a grand total of approximately 199 carats! - i.e. Faceted Pear would weight 16ct!
