a little note about my cast iron pieces...
i find these at salvage or antique shops, generally all rusty and unloved. though they look like they are from years past when i find them, they are not actually antiques. i take them home, sand off the crud, give 'em a fresh coat of paint, distress them a tad, and finish it all off with a polyurethane coating. they deserve a second chance... won't you be the one to give it to them?
