This little origami hinasama wears a kimono made from the prettiest light green paper with sakura (cherry blossoms) in various shades of pink and ume (plum blossoms) in gold and white. She has three contrasting layers in baby pink, light green, and dark pink near the neckline and a hakama made from a textured purple. A pretty pink washi butterfly completes her hair style. This handmade chiyogami paper doll (warabe ningyo) is folded with textured chiyogami and washi papers. Stephanie is our first brunette doll and named after my equally lovely sister!
Stephanie would look stunning in a scrapbook, or as an embellishment on a card or package. If you would prefer her as a refrigerator magnet, please indicate so in your order and I will attach one to her back. This style of doll is the perfect size for any project!
