Vintage Dru Holland Enameled Cast Iron Saute Frying Pan With Wooden Handle - Mint Green - LeCreuset Descoware

For those of you who like color in the kitchen, here is a really lovely saute pan in a mint green enamel with darker green accents and a white enamel bowl and wooden handle. Produced by Dru Holland this is of the same quality as Descoware of Belgium and LeCreuset France ca Julia Child era. This is an especially beautiful cookware line for lovers of rustic and folk design. Unfortunately no longer in production but a dream to cook with. Old and heavy with lots of warm patina for your kitchen.

Bottom is marked 24 Made In Holland.

9 inches across, 18 1/2 inches to the end of handle, 1 1/2 inches deep.

This is used vintage condition. This has little flea bites along the rim mostly at the outside. There is a little scuffing at the bottom of the bowl and some at the underside. The wooden handle has a small (1 1/8") tight crack at the underside near the nail and the handle is a little wobbly. Strong and beautiful with plenty of use left.

***A small note about enamelware. Not everyone understands that enamelware is glass on metal and very fragile. That is why so much of it has little condition issues from use. Do not use metal utensils with it, do not scrub it with a wire brush. Cook ware should be used watchfully with a low flame. And I wouldn't stack it with my dishes.
