I was sitting at my spinning wheel playing around with different techniques for creating texture and I came up with this. It is a "core spun" yarn using a merino wool yarn for the core and hand spun merino wool for the rest. It has extreme texture and it just amazing to work with. It does have some elasticity as the core yarn is a very elastic yarn. Thick and thin, coils, slubs, you name it, this yarn has it!
Approx 2.5 oz. 3 Ply. Extreme in WPI variation Bulky Yarn.
Check your pattern recommendations to be sure if this yarn is suitable for your needs. Hand wash and lay flat to dry. Not suitable for felting.
