As for the candle cradle itself, it was made by fusing layers of art glass together. Once the tile was fused, it was then draped over a mold & kiln annealed to ensure strength & durability.
You will find nearly every color of the rainbow in this piece! The base layer is a vibrant yellow- perfect for summer months :D Over the yellow you will see tiny dots of colors ranging from pinks & reds up to blues & greens.
The candle holder measures 2 1/4" in diameter & is 1 3/8" deep (a perfect fit for tealights).
This piece can also be used as a candle holder or a tart burner if that is what your heart desires.
