About the shirts-- I use American Apparel because they are made in the USA, sweatshop-free, and stylishly-cut. This is their 50% cotton, 50% polyester retro-style baseball shirt. Their shirts run a little bit small, so please check the size chart and order a size up if you're in between.
American Apparel unisex t-shirt size chart:
X-Small: Chest 30-32, Waist 28-30
Small: Chest 34-36, Waist 30-32
