This necklace is part of my diseño collection that is inspired by patterns and designs across various cultures. The triskele symbol is commonly seen in Celtic art. The triskeles can be found in a variety of styles, both in ancient and modern Celtic art. The symbol is related to the sun, afterlife and reincarnation. "They also evoke the Celtic concept of the three domains of material existence (earth, water, and sky), and their interrelations."
The chain and pendant are made from sterling silver, but have been given a liver-of- sulfur patina, which has been removed in spots. The entire piece is then coated with a clear coat.
