**** Kanzashi are the beautiful hair ornaments traditionally worn by geisha and maiko in Japan. I use the same tsumami(pinching) technique to make these Hana(flower) Kanzashi.
**** I modernized the kanzashi to be more durable for everyday wear and I use recycled/vintage fabrics as well as the typical habotai silk and chirimen fabrics normally used.
