It is a white Bullseye glass base with with a tree which has been hand twisted and fashioned from copper encased, with clear glass on top to protect it. There are also 'leaves' of green and orange made from frit.
This is quite a large pendant, so not for the faint hearted. It measures 5cm X 3.5cm approximately. It is finished with a green ribbon and cord which measures approximately 47cm (that's 19 inches in old money!). I can make this longer or shorter if you wish.
The pendant has been fused in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure stability within the glass and prevent cracking.
Fused glass is quite durable and whilst I wouldn't recommend that you throw it around (!), if you drop it, it shouldn't break, (unless perhaps it's on a tiled floor from a great height!)
The bail is attached to the pendant with super strong industrial strength glue.....this baby is going nowhere.
