One of my favorite things about using vintage patterns, is re-imagining them as something unexpected. This piece is the second creation using this basic design, perfect for adding drama to a simple wedding dress.
This piece began life as one half of a pattern for a collar called Portrait. I modified the pattern for that half into this amazing piece of neck art. Enhanced with large clear swarovski crystals and many white glass pearls it measures 14 inches (35.5cm) laid flat & 4 inches (10cm) wide at the center. It closes with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
This piece was hand needle tatted with white cotton thread.
