The focal of this pedant was created by hammering fanciful swirls of copper wire flat and then meticulously wrapping them with yards of thin pure copper wire and tiny, micro-faceted czech glass beads in a brilliant cobalt blue. The top swirl is enhanced with indigo swarovski crystals and tiny, fluted copper rounds for extra sparkle and opulence. From the bottom dangles a faceted briolette of A grade amethyst. The entire piece was slowly oxidized to a dark, antiqued finish.
The beaded focal piece is about 1.5" (4cm) across and 1.75" (4.5cm) long. It is suspended from 16" (41cm) of copper chain and finished with secure copper lobster-style clasp.
