Super easy to make under slip, for the cutest girl ever! Simple lines yet very stylish. Sizes 12 Months - 6 Child.
This under slip goes with so many outfits from pillowcase dresses to skirts. It adds that special bling to a plain outfit transforming it into a boutique look.
When you get a compliment on your little one’s outfit, it is such a great feeling to say “Thanks, I made it myself.”
The under slip has peasant lines with shirred bodice and sleeves. The unique feature of this pattern is that the gathers go completely around the bodice creating a fullness not common in peasant designs. Shirring is so simple to accomplish and when finished looks almost like smocking. It takes only minutes to add the shirring.
This versatile style can be worn alone as a dress if made from a heavier cotton. My samples are made of batiste. One of my samples has a antique lace frill that I have been saving for that special outfit.
