Fully illustrated instructions and full size pattern pieces to make a large (12x6) clutch with loops for attaching a strap. I include instructions for the fabric strap like I made for myself. A chain strap might also be nice. It would be very good in velvet for a formal clutch this Winter.

Measurements 12" wide, 6" tall and up to 4" deep.

There is a second PDF with this pattern to walk you through printing the large format pattern at home on regular paper.

Materials you will need:
-1/2 yard of cotton fabric for exterior
-1/2 yard of cotton fabric for interior and contrast
-22" of Peltex 70 ultra firm stabilizer
-toggle, purse clasp, velcro, or magnetic closure
-10" of zipper (you can use a 12" zipper and shorten it)
-Thread and sewing machine

Includes instructions for zippered interior pocket.

This one has a purse clasp closure. You might also choose to use a toggle, or a magnetic closure.

I would call this an intermediate level sewing pattern. This will be simple for you if you have constructed garments with darts, pleats, zippers, and button holes. Quilting skills also make for better results -cutting methods, experience with seam binding, experience with sewing layers of fabrics and batting. If you are already a bag maker, I think this pattern will thrill you.
