This Sleevy is made out of medium-thick cotton yarns in bright and contrasting colors: light pink, deep pink, green, and a lovely tone of purple.
The main part is made with the Tunisian crochet method. But I knitted the opening part with a rip-knit, so that it would close up around the edge of the iPad. The beautiful button embellishes the Sleevy and keeps the iPad safely inside.
For better support and safety, I crocheted a strap and sewed it around the edges of the sleeve, making two slings at each side. The slings make it very easy to slip the iPad into the sleeve and are also very useful when getting the iPad out of your bag.
As I have no iPad of my own, I used a similar sized book to take the pictures :)
