Design was accomplished by pressing lace into the wet porcelain before firing.
I will make your plate using the same lace as pictured. If you prefer I can use a piece you send to me. For example, a left over piece of your wedding gown or veil. Convo me if you would be interested in doing that. \
First names and date are hand painted with a black underglaze using Apple Chancery font.
Designed to hang on your wall as a reminder of your wedding day.
This plate can also be used to commemorate the birth of a child.
Child's name, Date of Birth, Weight and Length will be hand painted the same as above.
The plate will be high fired to 2232F and a protective matte finish will be applied to the surface. Since the plates are handmade there may be some slight differences.
