Two women is embroidered in slate, red and mustard on beautiful homespun linen that is between 80-120 years old. The porcelain doll arms are from Germany and were dug from the earth from the grounds of an old doll factory that operated between 1890-1920. The piece is framed in a vintage metal embroidery hoop that is 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The piece is backed with gray wool felt and is signed and dated on the back. It hangs with a simple ribbon.
