Finding feathers is embroidered in slate, and shades of blue and aqua on beautiful homespun linen that is between 100-120 years old. The porcelain doll arms are from Germany and were dug from the earth from the grounds of an old doll factory that operated between 1890-1920. Each woman holds tiny budgie feather that were naturally molted. The piece is framed in a vintage metal embroidery hoop with charming chippy light blue paint that is 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The piece is backed with gray wool felt and is signed and dated on the back. It hangs with a simple ribbon.
