This little mouse is a collaborative effort between Sarah L. Hunt (Mouse Trap Vintage) and Elizabeth J. Smith, co-founders of the new textile and home design company SquidWhale Designs. She is adorned with cotton fabrics of from The Turkey Red Collection, inspired by French 19th c. fabrics featuring abstract florals in a palette centered around this light fast pigment turkey red.
About The Turkey Red City Mouse Pin:
Completely hand-stitched out of wool blend felt with embroidery floss. The ear lining and the patch are made with cotton quilt weight fabrics from the Turkey Red Collection by SquidWhale Designs and printed digitally by Spoonflower. Patterns and fabric placement slightly varies on each mouse; no two are the same. As always, the tail is made from a thick, ancient, oily twine that holds its shape. Silver-tone pin back is stitched securely to the mouse's bottom. Each pin is shipped on a real mousetrap, which can also double as a display stand when you're not wearing it.
