The Viking knit is an ancient wire weaving technique going back to about the 7th century AD. Jewelry with this kind of wire technique were found in Scandinavian archaeological sites, hence the name.

This lovely single knit Viking bracelet is made from sterling silver wire and components. It measures 8 1/2" long and is under 1/4" in width.
