Measuring just 2½" in length, the plates are probably less than a half mm thick—nothing you would cut yourself on (though they are fine enough to describe as having "edge").
There are two different plate designs. Each appears identical to the other in dimensions but one is more packed with messaging, depicting a face with sideburns surrounded by wheat clusters, a pair of hands holding an emblem and a figure seemingly floating over a body of water. The face (on the left side) is encircled by the words, "Paris 1900" while the figure opposite is surrounded by the words, "Chicago 1893." Between these two graphics are the two hands approaching the center, appearing to hold another circle around the circumference of which the words, "GE GETZL GESCH" appear.
