Pincushion - Felted Wool, rust and moss

Here is a pincushion I made entirely from wool! Wool is great for keeping pins and needles from rusting. I needle felted this little cutie, sculpting its shape from loose fibers with barbed needles. It’s very firm, lightweight and fits so nicely in the hand. The top is one of my felted nests, like the ones I make brooches with.

Size: about 2 ¼ inches (5.5 cm) wide by 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

Color: rusty oranges and mossy greens

The quilting pins pictured are included! Pincushions come packaged in a clear plastic box, ready for gift giving.
