I found these great burlap coffee bean bags. In fact when I cut them apart to use I sometimes fine myself with a handful of unroasted green coffee beans. I cut the bags apart and use the best part for part of my messenger bags. This bag has burlap sections on the closing flap and on the back where there is a large divided pocket. I place unbleached muslin behind the burlap. The rest of the exterior of the bag is made from rusted denim. Yes, those coloration spots are from rust. The bag is lined with unbleached muslin and interlined with pellon.
Bag measures about 13" by 16" by 2". Which should allow for many laptops. The single cross body strap is made from multiple layers of the denim and is about 1 1/2" wide and 46" long. There is a divide pocket on the exterior back and on the inside.
