Copenhagen is a place steeped in the contrast of old and new - Streamlined modern Danish architecture against a backdrop of ancient brick and narrow medieval streets. One constant brings these two together, though – Copper. From the patina of the Stock Exchange roof to the bright metal of the new Copper Tower this material is all over the city. Even the iconic Little Mermaid statue is copper! Therefore the Copenhagen colorway is a study of copper – all shades of the metal are represented from the bright, shiny oranges through the many greens of patina.

This was the colorway that was recently on both Cookie A's and Anne Hanson's blogs.

Yarn Details: This yarn is a next-to-skin soft blend of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon. It is durable enough to handle socks but soft enough to be appropriate for lace or other garments. I only use the highest quality base yarns that I would want to knit with myself!

75% Superwash Merino Wool / 25% Nylon
3.5 oz / 463 yards / 100 grams
Fingering Weight
7-8 Stitches = 1” on #1-3 needles
Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry

All destination yarns are dyed with professional acid dyes for wash fast results. I am extremely careful to make sure that all of the dye is set, however as with any hand dyed yarn it is a good idea to hand wash items separately the first time just to be safe.
