Stoneware Tooth Bank
Description
I bet you've never seen one of these before. A tooth bank? huh?!? I make small tooth shaped boxes for the tooth fairy and someone suggested a larger bank. sounded like a good idea. This started out as a lump of white stoneware clay on my wheel. I threw a pot with a very thick base. I closed in the top and formed it in to the basic shape you see here. After drying slowly for almost 2 weeks i cut, carved and sculpted the feet (or root of the tooth). i then set to work on the rest of the piece, carving and sculpting till i got it the shape i wanted. cut a generous slot in the top and a hole in the bottom to get your money out.
This tooth bank is 4 3/4" tall and 4" square at the top. It is glazed in my white glaze which i make here in my studio. Rubber plug included of course.
International buyers are more than welcome, prices seem a bit steep, but that's what USPS quoted me. the box weighs about 10 pounds. I will refund the difference if i've over charged you on shipping costs.
Custom orders accepted if you'd like a different color or are looking for something specific. Thanks for looking!
